The role and responsibilities of the Authority
The Norwegian Radiation and Nuclear Safety Authority, DSA, issues advice and recommendations and develops and issues regulations. The regulations are based on recommendations from the International Commission on Non-Ionization Radiation Protection, ICNIRP.
Our mandate encompasses exposure of the general public. The Norwegian Labor Inspection Authority focuses on magnetic fields and wireless technology in occupational settings.
