The war in Ukraine places the issue of radiation protection during armed conflict firmly on the agenda. The international framework for radiation protection and nuclear safety was not created with war in mind. This week, Norwegian and international authorities and experts met in Oslo to address the challenges presented by war and conflict for nuclear safety.
