Radioactive incident in Arkhangelsk in The Federation of Russia

DSA received information Friday afternoon that indicates that the incident in Arkhangelsk has led to increased levels of radiation.

Six persons are receiving treatment after receiving higher doses of radiation.

DSA has not measured any increased radioactivity on our monitors, nor on any other European or Russian monitors that the DSA has access to. This information might be updated at a later date.

DSA has increased the frequency of its monitoring programme at Svanhovd in Finnmark and Østerås outside Oslo. No increased levels of radioactivity has been found, but the DSA will continue to monitor.
